Booking & delivery

Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery and pickup inside our core service area are included in every bundle. Addresses beyond [SET: SERVICE_RADIUS] may carry a delivery fee of [SET: DELIVERY_FEE], shown clearly at checkout before payment.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
No. Tell us where to leave the stack (porch, garage, breezeway) and we'll photograph the drop. Same on pickup — nest the empties where we can reach them.
How far ahead should I book?
Normal months: a week ahead is plenty. August and May (Mizzou move-in/move-out): book the moment you know your dates. Inventory is finite and those weeks sell out.
I live upstairs — is that a problem?
Walk-ups up to [SET: STAIRS_POLICY] are included at no charge. Note it in your booking so we bring the right setup.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel at least [SET: CANCELLATION_WINDOW] before your delivery date. Inside that window, we'll reschedule you instead.

The totes

How big is one tote, really?
27" long × 17" wide × 12" tall with an attached, interlocking lid — the working capacity of a large cardboard box. Rigid walls mean you can actually fill it with books without it failing.
Are they clean?
Every tote is washed and sanitized between every rental. Not spot-checked — every one, every time. It's the whole point of renting instead of scavenging.
What shouldn't go in a tote?
Liquids that can leak, anything hazardous or flammable, food that spoils, and anything irreplaceable enough that you'd rather carry it yourself. Standard moving rules.
What are the security seals for?
Numbered zip-tie seals lock the lid shut. Useful when movers or roommates are involved — if the seal's intact, nobody's been in the tote.
What if I lose or destroy a tote?
Missing or destroyed totes are deducted from your refundable deposit hold at [SET: TOTE_REPLACEMENT_COST] per tote. Normal wear — scuffs, scratches — costs you nothing.

Money

Is there a deposit?
A refundable hold of [SET: DEPOSIT_AMOUNT] is authorized on your card at booking — never charged unless totes go missing. It releases when we count your totes back in.
What if I need the totes longer?
Extend by the week from your booking confirmation, as long as the next customer hasn't reserved your totes. Extension pricing shows before you confirm.
Is this actually cheaper than cardboard?
Price a cart of large boxes, tape, and markers at a big-box store, add the gas for the runs to get them, then compare to a bundle. For most moves the totes win outright — and they don't collapse in the rain.
